Matías Méndez Cañas is the Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Capital. He leads the firm’s strategic direction, global positioning, and long-term growth initiatives, with a focus on building a scalable investment platform grounded in disciplined value investing across Latin America.
He also serves as Institutional Fund Manager, drawing on deep experience in LATAM value-driven investments to oversee portfolio construction and research processes. Matías developed Quantum Capital’s proprietary company screening and search framework, designed to identify scalable, high-conviction opportunities across regional market cycles.
Partner & CIO
Santiago Ramírez Calvo is Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Quantum Capital. He is responsible for portfolio construction, risk management, and the execution of the firm’s investment strategy, with a strong emphasis on capital preservation and downside control.
He brings extensive experience in investment banking and capital markets, with a track record of structuring, optimizing, and exiting complex investments across varying liquidity environments. Santiago plays a central role in evaluating entry and exit points and aligning portfolio positioning with macro and sector dynamics.
